The incumbent chairman of the Joint Negotiating Council, Ekiti State, Comrade Kayode Fatomiluyi has been re-elected for a second term in office.
Fatomuyi and other executive members were unanimously elected unopposed by members of the council during an election held at the Nurses House, Iyin Road, Ado Ekiti.
Other elected executives are, Lawrence Kulogun Vice Chairman,Yetunde Emmanuel, Secretary, Felicia Awe, Treasurer and Falope Bankole Assistant Secretary.
Speaking at the inauguration of the JNC leadership, the chairman Nigeria Labour Congress NLC Ekiti State, Comrade Joshua Olatunde and his Trade Union Congress Counterpart, TUC, Comrade Sola Adigun congratulated the new executives.
They urged the new leadership to justify the confidence reposed in them by their members.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Fatomiluyi promised to double his efforts towards fighting for the welfare of Ekiti workers.
He also promised to build a better relationship between government and workers’ unions for effective productivity.
