FG investigates Irish deal over 9.6 billion dollar judgement

The federal government has taken its investigation into the deal with the Irish firm, projects and industrial development company (P&ID)

The minister of justice, Abubakar Malami, who stated this, said that the deal signed by peoples democratic party (PDP) with the Irish firm, projects and industrial development company (p&id) was fraudulent when the opposition party was in power.

Malami said that all the Buhari-led federal government could do when it took over office in 2015 was to negotiate with the firm.

He said that the grace period to appeal the judgement that led to the award of $9.6 billion against Nigeria had elapsed as at when the Buhari administration came on board, since the previous government failed to make use of the time given
