The Ekiti state governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi has demonstrated its resolve to make life worth living for its citizen with the distribution of cash gifts to some 48 less privileged people drawn from the 16 local government in the state.
The governor represented by the chief of staff Hon. Biodun Omoleye reassured Ekiti people that his administration will not relent at formulating programs and policies that will make their life better.
The beneficiaries according to him comprised people who had written to the government seeking assistance as a result of challenges they are facing.
He said the exercise will be a continuous one henceforth so that the gap between the government and the people will be bridged.
One of the beneficiaries a physically challenged person,Tunde Ajibola thanked the state government for the gesture and prayed for the success of his administration.
