EKITI GOVERNMENT DEBUNKS PDP ALLEGATION ON SALE OF EKITI LODGE IN ABUJA

Ekiti State Government has faulted the allegation by the People’s Democratic Party PDP that the Ekiti Governor’s Lodge in Abuja has been sold by the Fayemi administration.

Reacting to the allegation, the Senior Special Adviser to Ekiti State Governor on Public Communication, Mr Segun Dipe who spoke on a Yoruba current affairs flagship programme on Ayoba FM, ORO TO NLO, clarified that the said Ekiti House in Abuja became inhabitable after four years of abandonment by former Governor Fayose which necessitated the ongoing renovation of the building.

Dipe advised the opposition to desist from deliberately misinforming the people for cheap political score.

Also speaking on the program, the National Deputy Publicity Secretary of the PDP who doubles as the Ekiti PDP Caretaker Committee Secretary, Mr. Diran Odeyemi, argued that the Fayemi administration should have informed the public that it was renovating the building in question.
