EKITI 2021 BUDGET TO FOCUS ON SMALL-MEDIUM SCALE ENTERPRISE

Ekiti state 2021 budget will focus more on caring for the small-medium scale enterprises SMEs and all round transformation of the healthcare delivery system in the state.

Ekiti state governor Kayode Fayemi gave the assurance on Monday during a citizens engagement/town hall meeting of the three senatorial district of the state in preparation for the state’s 2021 budget.

Our government house correspondent Olugbolade Cole who was on the entourage reports that the governor assured the people of the opening of farmstead roads for easy transport of farm products to the markets.

He explained that contractors handling road projects will be on site as government is working hard to reiterate it’s commitment to it’s electioneering promises to the people.

Although he stressed that the success recorded so far is attributed to development partners assured that his government will strive to make life easier for Ekiti people.

Representatives of the people who spoke at the venues requested for the completion of road projects,electrification,infrastructure, security and others.

Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on Monday inaugurated new medical equipment donated to the Children Emergency Ward, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital by the Ekiti Kete Canada to kick start activities marking the second anniversary of his administration.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, said the inauguration of the new equipment is a boost to healthcare delivery in the state.

According to a statement by the Special Assistant (Media) to the Deputy Governor, Odunayo Ogunmola, the items include ultramodern medical facilities and consumables to provide the best healthcare to children at the hospital.

The leader of Ekiti Kete Canada, Mr. Abosede Adeoye, said the gesture was to contribute to the healthcare services in their home state.

EKSUTH Chief Medical Director, Prof. Kayode Olabanji, urged well meaning individuals and organisations to emulate the gesture of Ekiti Kete Canada to make the hospital a destination of choice for quality healthcare delivery.
