RECRUITMENT OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT’S SPECIAL PUBLIC WORKS UNDERWAY IN EKITI

Ekiti Committee on Special Public Works has started the process of recruiting 16,000 youths across the 16 council areas for the Federal Government’s 774,000 jobs.

The three-day recruitment exercise, which started on Monday, attracted thousands of applicants across the 16 council areas.

The Chairman, Ekiti State Committee on Special Public Works Committee Programme, Mr. Biodun Omoleye, who monitored the exercise, expressed satisfaction with the turnout of applicants and assured that it will be transparent all the way.

Successful candidates would be engaged in public works such as clearing of drains, sweeping, cutting of hedges and road verges, traffic control, environmental sanitation, and beautification.
