President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday assessed his regime as the nation commemorates Democracy Day and returned a verdict that he has recorded notable achievements.
The president made the declaration in his nationwide broadcast to the nation.
While highlighting parts of his achievements, the president stated that amid the corona-virus pandemic, the country’s external reserves has increased from 33.42 billion dollars in April to 36 billion dollars in may.
President Buhari also stated that sustaining the economy and democracy has been a collective struggle.
He however express dissatisfaction in the increase of rape cases, insecurity, as well upsurge in corona-virus pandemic, urging Nigerians to join hands with the government in combating all challenges facing the country.
