PDP REJECTS NEW PETROL PUMP PRICE, SUGGEST N70 PER LITRE

The People’s Democratic Party PDP, has rejected the new pump price of petrol of N121 per litre as announced by the Federal Government
This was contained in a press statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, in Abuja, on Tuesday.
PDP insists that N121 per litre price amounts to fleecing Nigerians of over N50 per litre of fuel saying that a litre of petrol should be sold for N70 now in line with the prevailing realities of the global oil market.
The party called on the National Assembly to protect the interest of the people by using their legislative instruments to prevail on the Federal Government to implement the appropriate fuel pricing and account for the overcharges.
