Ministry of Police Affairs Set Up Committee For New $470m Security System

The Police Affairs Minister, Muhammadu Dingyadi has disclosed that the ministry has set up a committee to ensure the smooth take-off of the 470 million dollars National Public Safety Security System.
The minister who revealed this during the inauguration of a Divisional Police Headquarters at Salame town, Sokoto State, explained that the system had for long not been powered since its completion by ZTE Engineering Company in 2012.
Dingyadi further revealed that the committee is to also ensure the implementation of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) resolutions on the project, adding that when the project is completed, it will go a long way in improving the general security of lives and property across the country.
