Sudanese authorities orders investigation into bloody attack by security forces

Sudan’s Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok has announced an investigation into bloody attack by Sudanese security forces on pro-democracy demonstrators in the capital, Khartoum, on June 3, which killed more than a 100 protesters, bystanders, and medical workers and many more were injured.

The prime minister has therefore constituted of a national investigation committee. The committee includes a representative from the Ministry of Defense, which oversees all armed forces and a Supreme Court judge which has since raised concerns about meeting the basic standards.
