Fayemi pays condolence visit to family to deceased students during FUOYE crisis

The Ekiti state governor Dr.Kayode Fayemi has paid a condolence visit to the families of Joseph Okunofua a 300 level biology education student and Kehinde Dada a 100 level crop science and horticulture students, who lost their lives in the Tuesday federal university of Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) violent protest.

The governor represented by a delegation of top executive members of his cabinet led by the secretary to the state government Biodun Oyebanji said the visit was to stabilize and assure them that government is with them in their trying period.

Meanwhile, An elder brother of one of the deceased, Bankole Dada while reacting ,thanked the governor for the timely visit.

Other members of the delegation to the families are the chief of staff Mr, Biodun Omoleye,commissioner for women affairs Mrs.Mojisola Fafure, commissioner for environment Mr Gbenga Agbeyo and the chief press secretary to the governor Mr.Yinka Oyebode.
